{Pretty Pinterest Finds}:: For the Love of RUFFLES

Growing up in the Dominican Republic, I remember my mother dressing my sisters and I in pretty ruffled dresses for our weekend family outings. We would all have the same style dress, but in different colors, mine was blue!  That’s where I believe my love for ruffles comes from. So now that my sister Kari is expecting a baby girl, I thought, “why not make this a tradition? She needs some cute ruffle dresses!” So I went on a hunt for cute baby girl stuff. During my search I stumbled upon more than just cute dresses, but an assortment of girly and delicate items which are great for both party and home decor.

I created a mood board of some of my favorites and thought I’d share some with you. For this ruffles inspiration board, I decided to collect items that were in a soft and feminine color palette of pinks, beige and white which I think make for a lovely color scheme that is perfect for a bridal shower, christening, baby shower or a 1st birthday party!

Moreover, I’d like to dedicate this post to all of the mothers and mothers-to-be. I hope you enjoy this post and that you have a wonderful Mother’s Day surrounded by LOVE & JOY!
